These Terms of Service govern your use of AppetiteMap AI, a carrier-appetite matching tool for commercial insurance brokers. By using the platform, you agree to these terms.

Service Description

AppetiteMap AI maps risk profiles submitted by brokers against known carrier appetite guidelines and returns transparent market-fit results — Preferred, Possible, Restricted, or Refer — each with a human-readable rationale and full source provenance including where the guideline was obtained, when it was dated, what version was used, and its review state. No result is a black-box label.

Not a Quote or Underwriting Approval

Market-fit results are decision-support output, not bindable quotes or underwriting approvals. A match represents a possible route for further review only. Carrier appetite shifts constantly, and sample or demo data is clearly labeled as such. You must always confirm current carrier appetite directly with the market before acting on any result. AppetiteMap AI performs no automated pricing and no binding.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the risk profile information you submit and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations governing insurance placement in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for verifying any market-fit result with the relevant carrier before relying on it. Submission routes are drafts representing intent to route, not confirmed submissions.

Audit and Compliance

Sensitive actions — source ingestion, search, match results, user review, route-to-submission, risk profile creation, evaluation runs, export, and message preparation — are recorded in an immutable audit trail. This supports a defensible record of how placement decisions are made.

Limitation of Liability

AppetiteMap AI is provided on an as-is basis as a decision-support tool. We are not liable for placement decisions made based on market-fit results, which are illustrative and require independent verification with the carrier. We do not make legal, tax, insurance coverage, underwriting, licensing, or regulatory determinations automatically.
